Pipe Recovery

During P&A of a depleted gasfield, ID OIL TOOLS was requested to punch and cut a 5" 18# 22Cr S125 tubing string.

Using our extensive portfolio of solutions we advised to use our P&A punch charge and premium tubing cutter.

The punch gun was run to circulate the well to brine in order to minimize the u-tube effect and reduce risk of toolstring movement after severing the tubing.

Both tools were run successfully and the well was P&A-ed as per program.
