Based on ultra high fidelity transducer technology with the latest processing techniques, the ID SONIX accuratly measures the I.D. and wall thickness of tubing or casing or measures the cement bond quality.
The tool has been engineered to be a small and lighter system while using the latest technologies available
Sensor Package.
The ID SONIX is equipped with an all new ultrasonic sensor combined with a powerfull processing engine and ART (Acoustic Resonance Technology).
Combining these technologies allows the tool to measure defects as small as 2mm and measure the wallthickness with a resolution of <0.1mm
Flexibility
The tool can be run in either gas (>35bar) or fluid environments and can be used in 2-7/8” tubing up to 9-5/8” casing (even GRE lined casing).
The ID SONIX data can be used for 3D representation to detect anomilies and review the overall integrity of the logged interval.
With the internal geometry mapping option, data can also be compared with previous multi finger caliper data
