Multi Finger Caliper
The Multi Finger Caliper (MFC) is a casing and tubing Inspection tool that provides non-destructive inspection of well tubing and casing internal diameters. The MFC identifies and quantifies flaws and defects inside the casing, such as casing deformation, collapse, fractures, pitting, holes, the buildup of scale and paraffin. There are 60 independent mechanical “fingers” that remain in contact with the tubing/casing wall at all times during the survey.
